Frankenstein

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! It's October so I needed a halloween piece

All Alone

I wasn't really sure how to start so I began with a rough under painting to lay the values in place before actually forming the piece

Almost done, but details are still needed.

Finished Image

So this is the first painting I've every done with acrylic. It was really interesting having to figure out value problems with paint that dries after a matter of seconds. There's a story to this painting though...looking at it, can you tell what it is? Let me know what you see

America's Next Top Model

This is a picture of one of the winners from ANTM. The shadows and reflected light are all painted in warm acrylic tones, and the highlights are done in cool oil. This was a very interesting painting to do and pretty fun! :D

Value Study

Knight in Shining Armor

Every girl has one

Autumn River

River Landscape. The trees in the river are green when everything else is gold and red for fall...symbolism? Maybe, maybe not...what do you think?

Make Known His Wonderful Works

Make Known His wonderful Works. I submitted this to the Ninth Annual International Art Competition for the LDS church.

The Princess and The Pea

The Princess and the Pea

Apple

So I painted this for my Illustrative Media and Techniques class where we're supposed to experiment. So I decided to try painting oil on watercolor paint. The ending look didn't turn out too shabby, but it was a little difficult working on it. The paper dried the paint SO fast i had to make sure I was continually working all parts of it
